Every year, Shorewest, REALTORS® hosts our Christmas is for Kids event, which benefits children of all backgrounds from any southeastern Wisconsin neighborhood whose families could use a little help during the holidays. About 400 children joined us on Saturday, December 1 for an afternoon filled with crafts, holiday cookies, face painting and even a surprise visit from Santa. Check through our pictures below and visit our Facebook page to see the full album. Make sure to like Shorewest Christmas is for Kids on Facebook to stay up to date with all the news and events taking place during the year.

A bird’s eye view of all the activities at Christmas is for Kids.

Visiting the face painting station for a fun holiday design.

Each child picks out a hat, gloves and hand-knit scarf to take home and stay warm all winter.

Everyone chooses a book to take home.

The highlight of the day — a visit from Santa and his elves.

Santa and the elves deliver a present to each child during the event.

Stockings full of candy, activities, temporary tattoos and other holiday treats are given out at the end of the afternoon.

Thanks to our many volunteers especially office coordinators and chairperson Christine Caponigro for their efforts to produce such a wonderful event year after year. We look forward to our 29th-Annual event in 2013!
